Making films about artists is always rewarding because the images matter so much and every artist has clear ideas about their work – and that of other artists.

As with our films about musicians, we usually prefer to avoid written commentary and instead create the narrative from interview and voice over. This provides a stronger sense of authorship and greater insight than commentary can provide. This approach also offers an engaging and cost-effective way to promote and support exhibitions in commercial and public galleries.
